Knowledge Assistant allows you can make updates to your brand facts on the go, directly from your smartphone — without needing to log in. Once you’ve set up Knowledge Assistant, you can interact with it via text message or Facebook Messenger. For a full list of capabilities, see Knowledge Assistant Interactions.
Start a Conversation Through Facebook Messenger
- Open the Facebook Messenger app.
- Start a new chat.
- Enter Knowledge Assistant in the To: field.
- Select Knowledge Assistant from the options that appear.
- Enter a message to start a conversation (e.g., Hi).
- The Knowledge Assistant will ask you what you would like to do.
- Indicate which action you would like to take. With the Knowledge Assistant, you can:
- Update content. Some examples of fields you can update include:
- Featured Message
- Photos
- Hours
- Request information. Some examples of things you can ask:
- “Show me my hours.”
- “How many profile views do I have?”
- “What’s my average rating?”
- Update content. Some examples of fields you can update include:
- If you have access to more than one entity, enter the number associated with the entity you would like to update.
- Follow the prompts to complete your desired action.
Start a Conversation Through SMS
- Send a text message (e.g., Hi) to the phone number you received your verification code from when you set up Knowledge Assistant.
- The Knowledge Assistant will ask you what you would like to do.
- Indicate which action you would like to take. With the Knowledge Assistant, you can:
- Update content. Some examples of fields you can update include:
- Featured Message
- Photos
- Hours
- Request information. Some examples of things you can ask:
- “Show me my hours.”
- “How many profile views do I have?”
- “What’s my average rating?”

Other Standard Commands
You can also send any of the following messages when interacting with the Knowledge Assistant:
- “Nevermind” – Stops your current interaction if you no longer wish to continue.
- “Stop” – Unsubscribes you from further messages.
